Winter 2013 - update 2
George Young will be hosting the Asian Television Awards 2013. For the first time in the show's history, the Asian Television Awards will be aired in multiple countries, including: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
Mata Mata going strong on Mediacorp Ch5, a new Mandarin drama for Channel U on the way, an arts (Artographer) and tech show (Tech Me Up) on Okto and Channel 5 respectively, and a new endorsement partnership with SK-II - all makes for a nice end of the year for George Young!
Following four Mandarin-language dramas this year, George has completed filming for MediaCorp Channel 5's most ambitious English-language drama series to date: Mata Mata - a 50s/60s period drama focusing one some of the most volatile moments in Singapore's history. Premieres this Summer.

From the 20th September through to the 7th October in the Drama Centre Theatre, Singapore, George will be making his professional theatre debut, in a lead role in Pangdemonium's Swimming with Sharks (based on George Huang's movie of the same name starring Kevin Spacey). Tickets available here!
George is currently appearing in his first Mandarin-speaking role in MediaCorp Channel 8's Yours Fatefully (孤男寡女), followed by MediaCorp's 30th Anniversary Mandarin Drama Special: Joys of Life (花样人间).
George has just booked an exciting project, filming this Spring - more news to come!

Joys of Life (花样人间) is scheduled to air the end of May, with Yours Fatefully (孤男寡女) premiering the end of June.

George has completed filming additional scenes for the Feature Film Jhoothi Hi Sahi (IMDB Link). The film is directed by Abbas Tyrewala and features an original soundtrack by Academy Award Winning composer A.R. Rahman. The film is due to be released worldwide this October.
1st Quarter 2010
George will be filming two projects in the first week of January - a Motorola campaign (TVC) in Shanghai; and - in the UK - a lead role in Lynx's first film - the first big brand interactive film: "Keeping Keeley" for Lynx's new product: Lynx Twist, alongside Keeley Hazell and Blake Harrison of 'The Inbetweeners'.
George will be making a guest appearance on The Discovery Travel & Living's Fun Taiwan show with Janet Hsieh (expected air date: 27 December, 2009 - Asia region).
George has secured a Nescafe campaign (TVC and Print) in Asia - airing from the end of 2009 and throughout 2010.
Summer - Winter 2009
George has secured a role in the upcoming feature '0-800 LOVE' (working title); shooting in London and Mumbai this Summer (IMDB Link).

George will be performing at the New Players Theatre as part of Plays Unplugged Theatre Company's rehearsed reading of 'Other People' by Christopher Shinn on Monday 1st December 2008 at 2pm.
George has secured a lead role in 'Postcards from London' (working title); directed by Sarah Walker and produced by Underdog Productions as part of The Actors Centre's Film Lab Short Film project. Shooting will begin in late November.
George will be performing at the Soho Theatre as part of Typhoon 5 : Yellow Earth Theatre Company's annual international playreading festival on Tuesday 4th November at 7pm.
